Railway Lubrication Systems

Bijur Delimon has provided railway lubrication systems for on-board application of specialty lubricants on passenger trains and trams. The wheel flanges are sprayed with a precise amount of lubricant that extends wheel re grinding intervals. Smaller trams include a compact unit including air compressor. In addition to flange lubrication, we work with specialty rail companies for “top of rail” friction modifiers to reduce squeal without affecting stopping distances. We have systems installed on transits in USA, Canada, Europe, and China. The on-board systems work in conjunction with existing MOW Maintenance of Way or curve lubricators with compatible lubricants.
