Bearings perform at their maximum levels with a film of lubricant providing protection from heat and steel-on-steel contact. It also provides an extra layer of protection from corrosion and contamination. An automatic lubrication system is able to provide a consistent volume of grease to bearings, bushings and pins, so that over- and under-lubrication become a thing of the past.
