VU-D/3 Way valve

Application

The reversing valve VUD/3 is an hydraulic 4/3-way valve with electromotive drive. It is used for the alternate pressurization and pressure relief of the main lines in single and multi-strand dual-line systems. The valve has 3 switch positions (A, B and C). At the housing of the rotational drive, there is a visual position indicator which shows the position and the motion of the rotating piston.

Due to the mid-position (“C”), in which both main lines are relieved with the pressure line connection being locked, the VUD/3 is particularly suitable for multi-strand systems which require an effective relief of all main lines of all strands during the pause time. But also for single-strand systems, the relief of both main lines during the pause constitutes an advantage in comparison with the conventional 4/2-way valves which only allow the simultaneous relief of one main line.

The reversing valve can be fixed with the help of a bottom plate. The surfaces of the reversing block are zinc galvanised. To special order, stain-less steel valves are available. The reversing valve VUD/3 has two cable connections M 20 with tension relief.
