ACV Injector

Application

ACV Injectors are used in automatic grease lubrication systems of machine tools. They ensure that an accurate volume of grease is delivered to the appropriate lubrication point.The grease volume per cycle may be adjusted manually setting the stroke of the injector piston.

Operation

Position stand-by: When pneumatic port A2 is exhausted, piston (M) as well as main plunger are forced up under the spring action. By this time, the lubricant is drawn into the master bedroom and all is at rest.

Diving: When port A1 is under pressure, the piston (P) goes down. At  this moment, the plunger goes down and the outlet opens.

Discharge: Port A2 being under pressure, piston (P)moves downwards. At this moment, the main plunger goes down and lubricant which was into the body is ejected out through the outlet.

Lifting of plunger: When pneumatic port A1's air pressure is  exhausted, piston and pilote (P)move upwards under the spring action. At this point, part of lubricant accumulated at the exit is once more sucked up in the body.
